A Sick Comfort in the Chaos

Where do you live?
I can’t identify
You keep my body in this present
But the agony
It smothers me
With two hands around my neck
I’m suffocating
Darkness and shadows
Luring me back to what used to be
It’s tempting and soothing
So much pleasure in the chaos
Familiar yet disorienting
You identify the strength
Helping me revive
Who I was meant to be
