Amanda Nelson on How To Take Your Traveling To The Next Level

Now that travel opportunities are opening back up, people around the world are ready to get back out there and explore. From seasoned travelers to those heading on their very first adventures, Amanda Nelson wants to motivate you to see the world. Amanda is no stranger to travel– in fact, she’s made it her mission to travel the world and equip others to do the same. It hasn’t always come easy. From food stamps to building an empire, Amanda’s childhood was not filled with glamorous vacations. Amanda’s life changed when she decided to be an active participant in her life and future and transform her mindset with fresh ideals. Now, when she’s not travelling, she’s busy teaching others how to realize their potential, step into their freedom, and step onto a plane! We sat down with Amanda to hear her best travel tips that you can use for your next adventure!

Tip #1: Rideshare

Rideshare companies such as Uber and Lyft have exploded in popularity over the past several years. Touted as a convenient and affordable mode of transportation whenever you may need it, ride sharing can be an excellent way to get around. In order to save some cash, try scheduling your ride share a day in advance. Doing so will not only help you better prepare but will save you some coins as well.

Tip #2: Solo Travel

There is no experience quite like solo travel. With it comes the ability to travel where and when you want, with nothing and no one to hold you back. On the flip side, solo travelers should be cautious and smart when it comes to their adventures. Sharing your itinerary or location with at least one trusted person is a smart and easy way to ensure your safety.

Tip #3: Exploration in the In-Between

Sometimes schedules don’t add up exactly as you expected, and you find yourself with a chunk of time during a layover or before a hotel check in. What to do? Amanda recommends utilizing luggage lockers. Luggage lockers are typically a pay-per-hour service that let you stash your luggage safely while you explore! This can lighten your load and allow you more freedom to take advantage of your destination without worrying about lugging around suitcases or keeping them secure.

Whether you’re flying across the world, road tripping to your favorite destination, or anything in between, we hope these tips will help you plan your best trip yet.
