Mental Health

And with spring, comes growth

I do my best to not portray a character to the world.
I overshare to people whose company feels warm.
I’m not ashamed of who I used to be because I learned a lot from her.
But that’s me, how I see me.
It may not have anything to do with how others see me, and the freeing thing about it all is – I don’t care to convince you to see me.
People will try to make you see yourself through their eyes, whether it’s the good stuff or the bad stuff.

And neither are to be taken personal.

I write to process, to heal, to move through life with a little bit of grace, to stop living in my head, to find power in vulnerability - thankfully with editing tools, unlike real life.
