Awakening

The first time in months
Dust began to settle
Light shone through my eyes again
From gray to deep-sea blue
Noise slowed and creativity flowed
The thirst to embroider the world returned
Comfortable knowing life isn’t to be understood
Feeling safe to be seen again

Awake, finally.
