Black and White

Clear blue skies

dotted with dirty grey clouds,

no sign of rain

even the sun’s in hideout.

Is the universe sending a message?

Or is it just another bad day?

When colour dictates supremacy

and decides who has a say.

To say we’re all tired

is an understatement;

when did a space of mindless scrolling

become a battlefield of judgment?

Ah, there we go, pitch black!

The stars that used to shine

are sitting back

afraid of their bloodlines.

Black and white

they always looked good together;

but lately, it’s either one or the other,

let’s just blame it on bad weather.
