It’s time-consuming researching and buying all these new products for every new diet in an attempt to shed those extra pounds. Ladies I’m here to tell you…stop. Stop trying to keep up! I know what you’re thinking…”Stop trying to lose weight? Girl, you’re crazy!” No silly, stop trying to keep up with all these diet fads. Because they are exactly that! Just fads!

Listen to your body! Eat mindfully and intuitively! Trust me, you’ll be so much happier. No more stress about counting calories and measuring everything and having a NO/BAD food list.
Fuel your body! It does incredible things for you every single day, treat it the way it should be treated through food!
These are the 5 groups your body needs to survive and function successfully. Carbs, protein, fats, and vitamins & minerals.
The human body uses carbohydrates as the main source of energy. “What carbs?!” Hold on, calm down now…you can’t go eat a whole box of donuts. I’m talking about GOOD carbs also known as complex carbs. These carbs can be found naturally through fruits, vegetables, legumes, and grains. The second source of energy your body uses is protein. Now, protein can come from wherever you choose. Animals or plants! Animals are considered a complete protein and plants are incomplete proteins but can still get the job done with the help of supplements. The fats the I am referring to are of course healthy fats such as nuts, avocado, cheese, etc. Lastly, you can fulfill your bodies needs for vitamins and minerals through your daily dose of fruits and veggies! If you feel like you are not eating the recommended amount you can always supplement with daily vitamins.
Ultimately, eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full. I know, seems so simple right? Because it is! Try eating a meal or snack that has a little bit of protein, carbs, and healthy fats each time you eat. As long as you are eating good, wholesome food you will be on the right track!
