Don’t change your good nature

Sitting on the couch watching a rerun of Friends I asked my mom “how is it possible to hate someone because they have done you wrong but care for them so deeply… Like if a tragedy occurred in their life or if they became sick it would leave bruises on your soul.”

She looked up at me and said oh so calmly “its because of your nature…you were born to love and care.

Anyone who crosses your path, that be friend or foe, you will find the good in them.

This does not make you weak,

if anything it makes you stronger.

The world needs more of that.”

If you are able to care about a person after they have wronged you, I think that is telling of who you truly are at your core and that is equally beautiful and badass.

Be true to your nature always because there is power in that.
