Fellow Feeling

I see you inside out
And when you start to shout
Our worlds come crumbling down
As you sit atop your copper crown
Life has its heavyweight
Resting on your empty plate
I know that fellow feeling
I know it all too well
I know your fellow feeling
I feel it deep inside
I know it hurts and you feel that fear
But don’t treat me like a mirror
If I’m not your identical reflection
Why do you need a simple correction
I know your fellow feeling
I feel it all around
I know that empty feeling
It rots you inside out
If you don’t set your pride aside
How will you let love inside
I love your fragile heart
You just need a brand new start
I know that fellow feeling
That fellow feeling
I know you all too well

Born and raised in San Diego, California, I am a creative and eccentric young woman who desires to be a writer. I am in currently studying creative writing at school and aspire to receive my masters in the future. I am two sides of one coin; I enjoy writing sensitive poetry, my own analysis on astrology and tarot and I write morbid short horror stories.
