I Once was Lost but Now I’m Found

I once was lost but now I am found
I have been looking for you in the Land of Man
where We were told to hide
We became trees and birds and snakes
Our tears formed the oceans and rivers and lakes

I am here now.

stretch out Your branches
fly above the clouds
slither amongst the earth
run to Me, run through Me

I will take the fear they tried to suppress Us with and mold it back into the jealousy that cursed Us

I am 27 and live in the Queen City. I am a Pisces, an empath, and a witch. I have dedicated myself to the fight for reproductive freedom after becoming a Doula in 2016. I study feminism, occultism and philosophy, specifically that of spirituality and religion. I have been writing since I was 15, finding refuge in poetry and journaling.
