January Tarot + Animal Collective Reading

The Magician + Camel Spirit

YAAS witches, queens, soul seekers and magic makers! Let’s start this year – this decade – off with a bang!

The Magician invites us into our own seat of power, while Camel Spirit helps us to see the tools, skills and abilities that we already have at our disposal. These two are a powerhouse combination if ever I’ve seen one and I could not be more excited about the energy they are ushering us into this year.

Here’s the thing friends, we have everything we could possibly need right at the tips of our fingers; however, far too often, we find ourselves seeking something else, something more. What we need to realize is that we already have everything we could possibly need. It is already within us, already available to us. All the time, any time. Both the energy of the Magician, and that of Camel help us to realize and understand this. Then they swiftly, and with purpose, direct us toward actualizing the height of our own personal power. All we need to do is acknowledge our strengths, recognize our truths and abilities, and then put them to use.

I mean come on now, look at these beauties, just look at them! They are fiercely staring each other in the eye, standing in their own power, but all the while supporting each other…. they know! They know their own strength, they know each other’s and they know how powerful their combined forces would be. It’s time that you know this too.

So let’s start this year off with intention and power. I am going to list a couple intentional mantras to help you got started; you may pick one of these, or develop one of your own, and use it to carry you through the year. Write it on your vision board, or post it on your mirror; carry it around in your wallet, or fill an entire page of your journal writing it over and over again. Come back to it, carry it in your heart and soul and let it fill you with magic, confidence, and power.

I offer you:
• May I trust in my own strengths and abilities.
• May I know that I am a magical being.
• May I learn to stand fully in my own power.
• May I love my whole self.
• May I know that I am enough just as I am.

Setting intentions and using mantras can be powerful tools in helping us to: redirect ourselves toward positive thoughts and self talk; find motivation and inspiration; or, guide us toward presence and m indfulness.

What do you want to invite in this year, and how can you stage it so that this may be actualized? The Magician serves as a reminder that anything is possible, so long as you realize, know and claim your power; while Camel Spirit serves as a reminder to work with what you already have. I invite you to use these energies this month to start the year off strong – set your intentions, realize your worth and take steps towards actualizing your full power.
