Panic Attack

My heart is racing.

My body is shaking.

Tears fill my eyes

And I begin to cry.

Round and round I go

To a place, I don’t know.

Why doesn’t my heart stop?

It’s racing nonstop.

My vision blurs.

I would prefer

To be dead

Instead of being in my head.

My stomach tied in knots

As I become hot.

Consumed by a panic attack.

All I see is black.
