Queens Don’t Bow To Jokers On Pedestals

When it comes to high places like pedestals and emotions like love and hate, we unintentionally create inequality (between our self-worth and the outer world). Our ideals can blind us, we become overwhelmed by emotion rather than grounded with logic, and we start sitting people on thrones they don’t deserve. We place people into a role, like a king or queen (dictating every aspect of our life). The gap made by our ideals fuels our emotions; it’s like a drug addiction where the cure is the cause.

Loves meant to raise us (to bring freedom), but manipulative people can use love as a weapon. Just light up the end of an arrow and Cupids bow can be switched to the opposite intention—to burn us. Remember Achilles’ heel? Who’d have thought a great warrior’s downfall would be in plain sight. To a conqueror exposed flaws are target points to take advantage of—there’s that thin line between love and hate.

Once we’re emotionally weak, users can slip through by hacking our inner security systems. These people attach themselves to you like a virus embedding themselves into your cells, using your body as their slave, they become your master. A virus’s primary goal is to find a host where they have to do zero of the work, but reap 100% of the benefits. Hence why users only love what feeds their grandiose ego rather than earning it with integrity. Greed breeds ungratefulness, and you must cut the energetic cord from people who you’ll never satisfy.

We’re all guilty of falling victim to these energy vampires, lazing about on the pedestals we put them on. We created this ideal person; we imagined love was like prospecting for gold, and if we were patient enough, we’d find the one. But the ones we attract are the types that know how to act golden, make you believe you’ve found treasure, only to realise when it’s time to measure their worth, they fail the real test of time—they don’t last, they rust.

Fortunately, without failure, there’s no life lesson, and everybody at some point in their lives fails the balancing act between heart and mind, it’s tricky! But it’s do-able.

Stop falling victim toxic people!

Think like a person that craves power (in a perspective sense), thinking like the enemy is often the key to their throne. When you think about it: Power needs the absence more than anything, to trick its victims into believing, they need them. Power centralises the control, it’s a master of illusion, giving enough breadcrumbs without starving those beneath them, it’s built this way for a reason— to circle its prey, to believe there’s no other option. Be aware of these red flags and always be ten steps ahead.

Rid your life of toxic cycles.

Put yourself first, stop waiting for recognition, asking for equality and seeking permission from others. Don’t centre everything around another person, they want you to run to them because it weakens you. Take your power back, discover what’s right under your nose and start seeing people, for who they really are. Anchor love into yourself and ignore the tricks of illusion— power-hungry people want you to crave them, the heart grows fonder when starved from love.

Love yourself & Be Authentic!

Start planting all your energy into yourself. You don’t need anybody’s acceptance; you don’t need to explain why you deserve better, you don’t need anyone else to show you that. It’s a disease to your soul. Nobody can break us down except for ourselves, and when you realise this truth; you’ll walk with your head a little higher.

Now go build your own damn castle, and become the queen that you are, your throne is waiting, don’t let jokers rule your life.

Hi, my name is Leisharn Gregory. I'm a writer under the pseudonym of Liem. You can find my poetry under liempoetry on Instagram, and Facebook.

I’m an Australian Indigenous (Kija) & Northern Japanese women, born in Western Australia. My interests are in Art and writing. I love reading about Molecular biology, Astrology, Mythology, and the connection between science, and spirituality. Through my love of science, esoteric and metaphysical knowledge, I can see the connection between stories of creation from ancient cultures, and modern-day science; like a hidden bridge lost in symbolism.
I believe it's much easier to memorise through inter-generational storytelling; an example the Petroglyphs and Pictograms in ancient rock art (before writing was invented) before we were able to write down and easily distribute scientific terminology and knowledge, whether it be in mathematical equations, biological, chemical processes, names, classification, and the order of which they fall into in our plant and animal kingdoms, etc universal law.

I'm currently studying a Diploma in Psychotropic Plants and Hypnotherapy PL regression, and due to enrol in further studies to enhance my knowledge of similar sciences. I have a great love for reading, I love a good cup of coffee (methylanxines) and spending time with my little family.

I get great satisfaction out of connecting, inspiring and motivating people, in my opinion, we are all important no matter what race, socioeconomic status, physical aesthetic etc. I believe in the power of positivity, Inclusion and Love, and I always follow my heart.
