You Want a Woman

You want a woman
Who is quiet
Who is submissive
Who is naive
Who treats you like a god;
As though you know it all.
As though you could do no wrong.
I am sorry to say
That woman is not me.
For I am outspoken
I am strong-willed
I am wise
And in comparison to your stature
I am a Queen
Who deserves respect
From an honorable King.
Not an arrogant, self-entitled
“god”.
